Enhancing the Hiking Network in Ogliastra: “Ogliastra North-South” Itinerary

Telos srl has been entrusted with the design and promotion of the new “Ogliastra North-South” hiking itinerary, as part of a project led by GAL Ogliastra to enhance the regional trail network.

The initiative, funded under the Sardinia RDP 2014/2020, falls within the framework of “System Actions” aimed at boosting sustainable outdoor tourism. The new route will cover over 500 km of trails already registered in the Sardinian Hiking Network (R.E.S.), with the goal of connecting the region’s main mountain and coastal landscapes while highlighting its natural and cultural heritage.

Telos, in collaboration with Abbelabellu sas, will oversee the trail mapping, the creation of cartographic materials, the production of promotional content and the integration of a dedicated web page. Special attention will be given to accessibility, multimodal use, and the inclusiveness of the route.

Inspired by international hiking models such as the Corsican GR20, the project aims to enhance the visibility of Ogliastra as a sustainable and authentic tourism destination.
